5th grade, Middle School, and Senior Year

With school starting tomorrow for my brothers I've been thinking a lot about my "traditional" schooling. It's quite entertaining to see where I've been in my life. I'm not talking about places, but more maturity, emotional, spiritual(?) growth.

When I was in 5th grade, I was probably at the height of "popularity," which is fairly sad/hilarious because, looking back, I wasn't close to being popular. I thought I was SO cool!!! Whatever! 5th grade was one of my favorite years though. I had a great teacher, and I loved being in class.

Middle School: Hell on Earth. Ha ha! There were many times I felt that way!!! When I was in school, DEFINITELY! Hanging out with my friends aftter school, not so much. I think the biggest reason of why I look back and shutter at the thought of my nerdy 7th grade self is the fact that I tried SO hard to fit in and to be "cool." What is that? What is the point of being in the "in crowd?" Especially in middle school? But, unfortunately, when I was rejected, I tried even harder! On the plus side, I didn't do anything too embarrassing, and even if I did, I don't remember! I also had amazing friends who were always there for me and great teachers who helped me love learning.

On to Senior Year!!! I LOVED that year!!! I don't think I've ever had SO much fun, and worked SO hard in my life!!! Amazing!!! Ha ha! I was a nerd in high school, but by that time, I had accepted it and I didn't care. I had an amazing school family(the orchestra), I watched movies every day in class(Lit. to film, and film studies!!!), and all the other joys of senior year! Plus, my school was thee number one baskettball team in the state! Awesome way to end it! With your senior year comes graduation, definitely in the top 10 happiest moments of my life!!!

Okay, so I like to reminisce in memories of school. Now I want to share my goals for the next couple of years. My goal is to get a grant/student load/any form of money to go to SLCC and take some classes. After I work my butt off there, I will hopefully go to USU. IDK... Sometimes I feel like my goals are rediculous and not worth writing down, or typing, I guess, but I need to have them some place where I can see them.

I am interested to see how my life plays out, whether I have to decide, or whether things are thrown in my lap. We shall see, and I will definitely be excited!

Life

Oh life... My life is wonderful! For the past seven weeks I have had a wonderful time teaching the gospel to 12-15 year old girls!!! Boy, has it been an interesting experience, but I have to admit, I love it! I've learned so much... Mainly patience. Ha ha!

Anyway... With only three weeks of girls left, I've started thinking about life. Isn't it interesting that your life just seems to lead you to places you need to be? I mean, I would have NEVER thought to apply where I am working if it wasn't for a friend who was going to apply, but didn't... I wonder where my life is going to take me in the next year... That is what I've been thinking about for a while. I don't know what I will be doing with my life, but I do know it will all work out. I just have to be patient and everything will fall into place. :)

Fantastic day! :)

Today was one of the best days I have had in a long time. One of my best friends is getting married. We have all been so busy so we haven't been able to do anything in a long time.

Anyway, today was her bridal shower. It was so much fun just to sit, laugh, and have fun (just like old times). I am so excited for her. :) :) :)

Where to begin???

Oh, right, my life is boring. What else is new??? Some days I wish I could start my own college, but then I remember it's already been done.... And it's a movie... So, I guess for the time being I just have to be a lame 18 y-o with no social life for the time being.

Whatev!!!
